The incumbent will be responsible for the management of collection activities in the Commercial Gaming business throughout the Latin America and Caribbean region and will report to the LAC Finance Director. The duties will include:

  • Administration of consistent contact with customers regarding payment of balances

  • Management of monthly meetings with Sales teams to review significant past due balances and collection strategies

  • Coordination with Sales, Credit, Accounting and Finance to negotiate payment plans

  • Management of staff performing collections in the region, including both direct reports and matrix reports

  • Work with accounting to streamline customer reporting to include consistent information from different Legacy subsidiaries

  • Responsibility for collection metrics such as DSO and Bad Debt Expense.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 -7 years commercial collection experience

  • 3 - 5 years supervisory experience

  • Knowledge of and work experience with multiple Latin America countries

  • An accounting degree or a business administration degree with significant accounting experience

  • In depth knowledge of collection processes

  • Experienced in lending procedures and collateralization (ie. documentation, bills of exchange, letters of credit)

  • Working knowledge of bankruptcy processes, reporting, and documentation

  • Good written and verbal skills in both English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

  • Significant usage of ERP accounting systems such as SAP

  • Advanced Excel skills
